The Alutaguse Brown Bear Nook offers excellent opportunities for taking photos of bears. The alcove has photo shades on two sides and it is located on the shores of a stream. To the north, there is a fir-birch forest and to the south, a stream and a meadow. Raccoon dogs, elks, and bucks can also be seen in addition to bears. Even beavers sometimes swim here. You can also photograph birds like the golden eagle, the white-tailed eagle, goshawk, hawk, woodpeckers, and various perching birds.
The nook is simple, clean, and cosy. There is a dry toilet and private booths with bunk beds, sleeping bags, and chairs.
