Viru Marathon is a skiing competition with a long history with the race taking place on the Mõedaku skiing tracks in Lääne-Viru county. The competition center is located in the Mõedaku Sports Centre and the finish of the race is on the ski stadium. The Marathon is a part of the Estonian Ski Association's calendar and is a stage of the Estoloppet Estonian long-distance skiing event series.
Viru Marathon offers suitable race tracks for any ages. In addition to the 40 and 21 km distances, there will also be kid's races for two age groups.
